Why we exist
Families told us the same thing again and again: support that's either clinically rigorous or genuinely warm, rarely both. We built Special Minds to close that gap.
Special Minds places Learning Support Assistants, shadow teachers, tutors and licensed therapists with families and schools across the UAE — always under clinical supervision. We don't do freelance or unsupervised placements; every specialist we place reports into a clinical lead who reviews their work against real goals.
We work across all seven emirates, with our deepest network in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, supporting children at home, in school, or at a centre — whichever setting fits the child and family best.
Our approach is assessment-led: we listen before we assess, assess before we plan, and plan before we place anyone. It's slower than handing over a CV, and it's why families stay with us past the first placement.
