Beyond Dubai
Where you live should not set the standard.
Families in Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah are looking for the same thing as families in Dubai: a trained specialist who works one-to-one with their child at home, to a written plan, with someone qualified checking that it is working. Finding a person is rarely the hard part. Finding someone who is still reviewing the work six months later, once the search moves past Dubai, usually is.
We place SEN governesses in all seven emirates. Our deepest network is in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, and our head office is in Ras Al Khaimah, so the northern emirates are not an afterthought for us. The plan, the supervision and the published fees are the same wherever you live. What can differ is how long a narrow match takes, and we would rather say so on the first call than after you have paid.
Plenty of families also live in one emirate and send their child to school in another. A school-plus-home arrangement still works across that line: the classroom hours need the school's agreement, which we arrange with its SENCO, and the home hours run from the same plan.

Emirate by emirate
What changes, and what does not.
Sharjah
Private schools answer to SPEA, the Sharjah Private Education Authority. Where the role includes classroom support we agree it with your child's school and its inclusion team, and the home hours follow the same plan.
Ajman and Umm Al Quwain
Smaller emirates, where the right specialist may not be based nearby. We match on where the specialist lives as well as on your child, and say plainly if a particular skill or language will take longer to find.
Ras Al Khaimah
Our head office is here. Families in the emirate get the service every emirate gets: the same written plan, the same clinical review and the same published fees.
Fujairah and the East Coast
Across the mountains from the Gulf-coast emirates, so distance shapes the match. We are honest about lead times for specialised briefs, and we will not place someone whose journey makes the agreed hours unworkable.
School in one emirate, home in another
One specialist can cover both settings when the school agrees, so the strategy your child uses in class is the one waiting at home, whichever side of the emirate line that is.
What travels with the service
Three commitments that do not change by emirate.
A plan before a person
Your child's goals are set first, from a conversation and, where it helps, a standalone assessment (AED 499). The specialist is matched to that plan.
References we actually call
Every specialist gives us a CV and two references, and we call the references before anyone is introduced to your family.
Someone accountable in month six
On a managed placement the clinical team reads the records, changes the plan as your child changes, and replaces the specialist if that is what it takes.
Two ways to arrange it
We employ her, or you do.
We employ and supervise her
The specialist stays on our books. A clinical lead writes the plan, reviews it, and changes it as your child progresses — and if the placement stops working, we replace her.
AED 15,000–30,000/mo, plus AED 1,999 to start the search
Families who want the plan and the accountability carried for them.
You employ her
We run the search, screen, interview and reference the candidates, and you hire the one you choose onto your own arrangement. One fee, once, and no ongoing relationship with us unless you want one.
AED 1,499 to open the search; the placement fee is one month of the candidate's agreed gross salary
Families who are happy to manage the role themselves.

Questions families ask.
- Do you place SEN governesses in Sharjah?
- Yes. We place specialists in Sharjah homes and, where the school agrees, alongside your child at a SPEA-regulated school. If your child lives in Sharjah but goes to school in Dubai, the same arrangement works: the school's agreement for the classroom hours, and one plan across both.
- Is there support in Ras Al Khaimah, Umm Al Quwain or Fujairah?
- Yes, in all three. Our head office is in Ras Al Khaimah, and the clinical team that supervises our Dubai placements supervises placements in these emirates too. A narrow brief, such as a particular language, unusual hours or a specific set of skills, can take longer to fill, and we will give you a realistic timeline rather than an optimistic one.
- Will the specialist be based near us?
- We match on where the specialist is based as well as on your child's needs, because a commute that eats into the day puts strain on a placement from the start. If you are asking whether the role can be live-in, that is for you and the specialist to agree. We place the specialist, and we do not act as a sponsor for household staff.
- Is the fee different outside Dubai?
- The published range is the same in every emirate: AED 15,000–30,000/mo for a managed placement, with AED 1,999 to open the search. Where a placement sits in that range depends on the hours, the complexity of your child's needs and the languages required, and we tell you before you commit to anything. Direct hire is AED 1,499 to open the search and one month of the candidate's agreed gross salary as the placement fee.
- We are moving to another emirate. Can the placement move with us?
- Tell us as early as you can. The plan and the clinical team stay the same wherever you live. Whether the same specialist can follow you depends on where they are based and what they are prepared to do, and if they cannot, we search again in the new emirate against the plan your child already has.
- Who supervises a governess placed in the northern emirates?
- The same clinical team that supervises every other managed placement. A clinical lead writes the plan, reads the specialist's records and adjusts the goals as your child progresses, whether the home is in Ajman or Abu Dhabi. On a direct hire, supervision is the family's responsibility unless they arrange it separately.
- Which school regulator applies to us?
- It depends on the emirate: KHDA in Dubai, ADEK in Abu Dhabi and SPEA in Sharjah, with the other emirates under their own arrangements. Your child's school will know which applies. For a governess the practical point is the same everywhere: classroom support needs the school's agreement, and we take that up with the SENCO.
- Can we start with an assessment instead of a placement?
- Yes. A standalone assessment is AED 499 and ends with a clear recommendation, which may or may not be a governess. It is the sensible first step when nobody has yet written goals for your child, because a governess carries a plan rather than creating one.
