Closer to home

If therapy has meant a drive into Dubai, it doesn't have to.

If you live in Sharjah or Ajman and have been planning the week around a drive into Dubai for therapy, you will know the cost is not only the fee. A session that takes an afternoon on the road is hard to keep up for months, and a child who has spent that afternoon in a car seat is rarely in a state to learn. We bring the RBT to your home or your child's school instead.

Sharjah and Ajman families are matched the same way as families anywhere else: on area, on the hours you need and on the languages your child uses. Once the search is open, introducing an RBT takes from a few days to a couple of weeks, and the programme is written and reviewed by a BCBA from the same clinical team that supervises every emirate.

Home is often where the hardest moments of a day happen — getting dressed, sitting down to eat, leaving the house, settling at night. A programme delivered at home lets the BCBA write goals for those exact moments, and lets you watch, learn and carry the strategies into the hours between sessions.

What families here get

The same programme, closer to home.

  1. Sessions in your home

The RBT comes to you, works on the routines that are hardest in your house, and leaves you with something to practise. A responsible adult is at home for every session.

  2. Sessions at a SPEA school

Sharjah's private schools answer to the Sharjah Private Education Authority. We ask the school first and plan any school sessions with its SENCO or inclusion lead.

  3. Schools in Ajman

Every school sets its own arrangements for outside professionals. We start with the school's SEN or inclusion lead and work to whatever the school agrees.

  4. Matched on your area

Tell us where in Sharjah or Ajman you live and we look for an RBT who can reach you reliably, week after week, on the days you need.

  5. One clinical team

The BCBA reviewing your child's data belongs to the same team that supervises every emirate we work in. There is no lighter version for families outside Dubai.

Making home sessions work

A few practical things to sort out early.

A space, not a therapy room

A corner of the living room or the kitchen table is enough to begin. Once the programme is written, the BCBA may suggest small changes so the space helps rather than distracts.

Siblings and visitors

Busy homes are normal. Tell us who is usually around at session time, so the plan can bring a brother or sister into play or work around them.

The adult at home

A responsible adult is present for every session. It is also the easiest way to learn the strategies yourself.

Hours you can keep

Home programmes commonly run two to three sessions a week of one to two hours. The BCBA recommends a number; you decide what your family can sustain.

Pricing

Two figures, both up front.

Frequently asked

Questions families ask.

Do you offer ABA therapy in Sharjah, or only in Dubai?
We offer it in Sharjah and Ajman as well as Dubai, at home or at your child's school. Families here are matched on area and hours like anywhere else, and the programme is written and reviewed by a BCBA from the same clinical team.
How much does ABA therapy cost in Sharjah?
Sessions start from AED 325 an hour, and the rate eases as the weekly hours rise. AED 499 opens the search: a BCBA reviews your child's brief, sets the first goals and recommends the hours, and we introduce one matched RBT. The registration is non-refundable once paid.
Is ABA therapy available in Ajman?
Yes. We match RBTs to families in Ajman for sessions at home or, once the school agrees, at nursery or school. Tell us your area when you first message so we can say how quickly a match is likely.
Can ABA sessions happen at my child's school in Sharjah?
Yes, if the school agrees. Private schools in Sharjah are regulated by the Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA), and each school decides how outside professionals work on site. We plan the sessions with the SENCO or inclusion lead so they fit the school day.
We already drive to Dubai for speech therapy. Can ABA be at home instead?
Yes. ABA sessions can run in your home in Sharjah or Ajman whatever else your child is doing. If you would like speech or occupational therapy closer to home too, ask us, because we arrange those through the same clinical team.
Will the therapist speak the languages we use at home?
Tell us which languages your child uses and hears at home. We match on language where we can, and if we cannot for your area and hours, we tell you before you decide.
Who needs to be at home during an ABA session?
A responsible adult is present in the home for every session. Being in the room for at least part of it is also how you pick up the strategies the RBT is using, and parent coaching is part of every programme.
How do we stop if ABA is not working for us?
One month's written notice ends the arrangement at any time. Before it gets to that, the session data and the monthly review show what needs to change — the programme first, and the RBT if the fit is wrong.
